These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Storytell Initiative Course (the “Course”) and all related content, materials, and services provided by Angela Harger Productions LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing, accessing, or using the Course, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not click “Purchase Membership” to complete your purchase, access, or use the course.
1. DEFINITIONS
“Course” means the Storytell Initiative Course, including all videos, lectures, prompts, written materials, worksheets, title cards, graphics, downloads, and any other content provided.
“Course Materials” means all content provided in connection with the Course, whether accessed online, downloaded, or otherwise provided.
“User,” “you,” or “your” means any individual who purchases, accesses, or uses the Course.
2. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase or use the Course. By using the Course, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. LICENSE AND PERMITTED USE
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, the Company grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the Course Materials for your personal, non-commercial use only.
You may not:
• copy, reproduce, distribute, republish, upload, post, or transmit any Course Materials
• sell, license, rent, or otherwise exploit the Course Materials
• share your login credentials or allow others to access the Course
• create derivative works based on the Course Materials
• use the Course Materials for your own teaching, coaching, or competing products
All rights not expressly granted are reserved by the Company.
4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All Course Materials are the exclusive property of Angela Harger Productions LLC, and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.
Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.
5. USER-GENERATED CONTENT
You may create your own written materials, stories, or other content while participating in the Course (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by submitting or sharing User Content with the Company (including in any group, forum, or coaching context), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display such content for educational, promotional, or business purposes, unless you explicitly request otherwise in writing. You can easily do this by contacting us at the email address located at the end of this Terms of Use agreement.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and any legal implications arising from it, including but not limited to defamation, privacy violations, or intellectual property infringement.
6. NO PROFESSIONAL ADVICE
The Course is provided for educational and informational purposes only.
Nothing in the Course constitutes legal, financial, business, publishing, or professional advice. You should consult with a qualified professional regarding your specific situation before taking action based on any information provided in the Course.
For any optional one-on-one coaching sessions or similar services offered in connection with the Course (“Coaching Services”), all such sessions are provided for educational and informational purposes only. Coaching Services are not therapy, counseling, legal advice, financial advice, or any other professional service, and no guarantees are made regarding any specific outcomes or results. You acknowledge that any decisions or actions you take based on Coaching Services are made solely at your own discretion and risk.
7. NO GUARANTEES OR RESULTS
The Course is intended to provide guidance and tools related to storytelling, writing, filmmaking, course creation, composing songs, art, and other creative endeavors for publication and distribution.
The Company does not guarantee any specific results, including but not limited to:
• publication/distribution of any work
• financial success or income generation
• audience growth or business success
• personal, emotional, or therapeutic outcomes
Any references to potential outcomes such as “impact,” “healing,” or “income” are aspirational in nature and depend entirely on individual effort, circumstances, and external factors outside the Company’s control. The Company is giving you everything possible to help you, the rest is in your hands.
8. USER RESPONSIBILITY
You acknowledge that:
• your success depends on your own effort, skill, and circumstances
• you are responsible for verifying any information before relying on it
• you are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements related to your work
The Company is not responsible for any decisions you make based on the Course.
9. THIRD-PARTY RESOURCES
The Course may reference third-party companies, services, platforms, or resources (including but not limited to publishers, software, agents, or government entities).
These are provided for informational purposes only. The Company:
• does not endorse or guarantee any third-party service
• is not responsible for any outcomes related to third-party use
• has no control over third-party content or services
Your use of any third-party services is at your own risk.
10. PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS
All purchases are final and there are no refunds.
Payments are processed through third-party providers, including Squarespace and Stripe. These providers are responsible for the collection, processing, and security of your payment information and are designed to comply with applicable Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS). The Company does not directly collect or store full payment card details. While Company uses commercially reasonable efforts to work with secure platforms, it does not control and is not responsible for the security practices of third-party processors or for any unauthorized access, hacking, data breach, or other security incident affecting such systems or the transmission of your information.
11. ACCESS AND TERMINATION
The Company reserves the right to:
• suspend or terminate your access to the Course at any time for violation of these Terms
• modify or discontinue the Course or any part of it at any time
Upon termination, your license to access the Course immediately ends.
12. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
The Course is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
The Company disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:
• merchantability
• fitness for a particular purpose
• accuracy or completeness of content
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to your use of the Course.
The Company’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Course.
14. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Angela Harger Productions LLC from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising out of:
• your use of the Course
• your User Content
• your violation of these Terms
15. PRIVACY POLICY
The Company may collect personal information from you, including your name, email address, and other information you voluntarily provide when purchasing the Course or signing up for communications. This information is used to provide access to the Course, communicate with you, and deliver related content, updates, or marketing emails. The Company does not sell your personal information to third parties and uses your information solely for its own business purposes, including providing the Course, processing transactions, and communicating with you. Payment information is processed by third-party providers and is not stored by the Company.
The Company uses third-party platforms, including Squarespace and Stripe, to host the Course and process transactions. These providers may collect and process your information in accordance with their own privacy policies. The Company takes reasonable steps to protect your information but cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted over the internet and is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of third-party services.
16. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Texas, unless otherwise required by law.
17. MODIFICATIONS
The Company may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Course after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
